Will de Peyer
For five years, Will worked at the heart of government as a Special Adviser providing strategic and policy advice to the then Chief Secretary, Danny Alexander. He was intimately involved in Budgets, Autumn Statements and Spending Reviews. Prior to that he held senior advisory roles within the Liberal Democrats. In his earlier career, he worked in several major City institutions providing him with a keen understanding of the financial services sector.
Peter is a multi-award winning public affairs campaigner. He is widely credited as the architect of Joanna Lumley’s Gurkha Justice Campaign and was one of the founders of the UK’s most successful fuel taxation campaign. He is also highly experienced in running political, charity and community based campaigns. He has extensive experience of working with local, regional and national media having worked as a Special Adviser in HM Treasury in the last Government.
Laura has over 17 years' media experience as a journalist and editor across an extensive range of trade media. She has worked in many sectors including aviation, construction, logistics and computing. Laura is highly skilled in helping clients develop their trade media and external communication strategy and helping them implement it effectively across print and digital platforms.
Emma is an experienced public affairs professional. She spent over 5 years working in an agency, during which time she devised and led the implementation of public affairs, media, stakeholder engagement and reputation management strategies for some of the world's leading brands. She has also advised businesses on their political and media engagement across a wide variety of sectors including transport, energy, financial services, planning and tech start-ups. Prior to this, she worked in the House Of Commons as a researcher, and also spent time as a Special Adviser in HM Treasury.
Lynne Beaumont is a highly experienced political and issues based campaigner. She has been part of the management team on several high profile national, regional and local campaigns covering community, environmental, political and human rights issues. She is an effective communicator and media trainer and has a detailed knowledge of the workings of local government.
Carys has over ten years of public affairs experience, across a wide range of sectors. She has particular experience in financial services having served as head of the Financial Conduct Authority's public affairs team and as head of government affairs for a financial services trade body. In addition, Carys has extensive communications experience in the charity sector and has worked abroad in the Republic of Maldives as political consultant to the leader of the Maldivian Democratic Party. Carys lectures Masters level students in public affairs and is an Accredited Practitioner and Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
Ed has a broad career working in the media and entertainment industry across digital marketing, design and PR. Ed has built experience working across global brands and personalities including American Idol, Honda F1, The Beckhams and Annie Lennox. With in depth understanding of social media and web design, Ed is able to develop, implement and market projects on a global scale.
Paul joined Tendo Consulting after over a decade of public affairs and political experience gained in Parliament, in-house and in agency settings. His experience includes securing tax breaks for the UEFA Champions League Final, whilst working for the Football Association, an improved fuel duty rate for LPG fuel for Autogas and leading the campaign against the plans for Boris Island on behalf of Medway Council and Kent County Council.
Earlier in his career, he held a number of roles with Parliament, including running a number of frontbench MPs offices, leading on legislative and media issues.
