Peter Carroll

Peter is a multi-award winning public affairs campaigner. He is widely credited as the architect of Joanna Lumley’s Gurkha Justice Campaign and was one of the founders of the UK’s most successful fuel taxation campaign. He is also highly experienced in running political, charity and community based campaigns. He has extensive experience of working with local, regional and national media having worked as a Special Adviser in HM Treasury. 

Alongside Will de Peyer, Peter founded Tendo in 2015. 

Millie Hinton

Millie joined Tendo after graduating from the University of Manchester with a degree in Politics and International Relations. She has previously held roles at Future Cities Catapult and Look Ahead Housing Care and Support.

Millie is responsible for social media and political engagement for a range of our clients. Millie also provides the Secretariat support for APPGs and has helped to secure both political and public support for campaigns such as End Our Pain.

Will de Peyer

For five years, Will worked at the heart of the Government as a Special Adviser providing strategic and policy advice to the Chief Secretary. He was intimately involved in Budgets, Autumn Statements and Spending Reviews. Prior to that he held senior advisory roles within the Liberal Democrats. In his earlier career, he worked in several major City institutions providing him with a keen understanding of the financial services sector.

Alongside Peter Carroll, Will founded Tendo in 2015. 

Katie Reade

Katie joined Tendo from the international NGO Penal Reform International. She graduated from Durham University with a degree in History.

Since joining Tendo, Katie has provided public affairs, communications and policy support for a range of clients.

Paul Gaffney

Paul Gaffney

Paul has over a decade of public affairs and political experience including advising clients across a diverse range of sectors including transport, energy, leisure and housing. His experience also includes leading the public affairs team for one of the UK’s largest housing providers and working for The Football Association. Earlier in his career he worked in Parliament for a number of frontbench MPs working across a range of portfolios.

Laura Holloway

Laura Holloway

Laura joined Tendo with a number of years of experience in public affairs and political roles, with a particular focus on Parliamentary and legislative procedure. Her career includes working as a Special Adviser to the Leader of the House of Lords and the House of Lords Chief Whip and as a political adviser in the Conservative Research Department. Laura also has significant agency experience across a range of policy areas including transport, sport, health, technology, music, finance and insurance and has excellent knowledge of the inner workings of Parliament alongside experience working with regulatory bodies and trade associations.  

Tom Darling

Prior to joining Tendo Tom completed a series of internships, working first at another public affairs consultancy, and then later for MPs in Parliament. He graduated with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford in July 2017.

At Tendo Tom is responsible for providing public affairs, communications and policy support across range of clients.

Daniel Laing

Daniel provides strategic advice and expertise to a range of clients at Tendo utilising his eight years in public affairs, research and campaigning experience. Having worked at a major political intelligence agency leading the health consultancy team, he has first rate expertise navigating the life sciences sector for pharmaceutical clients, health organisations and research bodies. He also has extensive experience working on local government research initiatives, in-house public affairs for a UK children’s charity and writing for political publications.

Chris Heley

Chris joined Tendo with a number of years’ experience in public affairs and has worked across a variety of clients and a range of national policy areas including transport, sports governance, health and FMCG. Chris has considerable experience liaising with and working alongside corporate clients, regulatory bodies, trade associations and local authorities. Chris has a BA in Politics from Swansea University and a MA in Political Communication from Cardiff University
